𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨 𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦

𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 :-

          The technology involves for development use and maintenance of computer system, software and networking, for processing store and distribution of data in the different field across the world is called information technology.

• This includes designing of hardware for processing the data and developing the software for distribution of the data efficiently.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 :-

                The internet is global wide area network (WAN) in which large number of computer system are interconnected to each-other across the world in order to communicate and sharing the information.

• The internet plays an important role in every field of life such as online shopping, playing games, downloading, research and banking etc.

➤ 𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭:-

There are following four thing necessary for connect internet:-

1. Internet Service Provider (ISPs)

2. Web Browser

3. Modem

4. Computer(System)

1. Internet Service Provider (ISPs):-

        The internet service provider is a company that provide access to the internet for both personal and business customer.

➤ ISPs make it possible to online shopping, search on web, conduct the business. and connect with family and friends in single fee.

➤ ISPs may also provide software package (such as Browser) Email account and Personal website or home page.

➤ The internet service provider company in India are BSNL, Jio Reliance, Vodafone Idea (VI), Airtel etc.

➤ The ISPs offers the different types of internet connectivity such as dial-up, Broadband Cable, Satellite internet access, Broadband, Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity).

2. Web Browser:-

                      Web browser is a software that is used to navigate the World Wide Web (WWW).

➤ The web browser can show the text, audio, video, animation, image etc.

➤ It is the responsibility of web browser to interpret text and command contained in the webpage.

➤ Earlier the web browsers were text based while now day graphical based or voice based are also available.

➤ There are many web browsers available today such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari etc.

3. Modem :-

                    A modem is a short form of modulator and demodulator.

➤They are used for transfer from one computer network to another computer network.

➤The computer network work on the digital mode while analog technology is used to carrying across telephone lines.

➤The modulator convert the information from digital mode to analog mode at the transmitting end while demodulator convert the analog to digital at receiving end.

➤ The speed of modem measures in BPS (Bits per Second).

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 :-

                                      

1) URLS: - URLs is stands for Uniform Resource Locators.

➤ It is a standard way to locate a resource such as file or document on the internet.

➤ URLs specifies the address of file and every file on the internet has unique URLS / address.

➤ The URLs contain name of the protocol needed to access a resource and IP (Internet Protocol) address or domain name. Such as a URL is http/www.hotmail.com

➤ In this URL http is protocol and www.hotmail.com is domain name where the resources is located. 

2)  WWW :- 

                  It is stands for World Wide Web and commonly known as web.

➤ It is hypertext information system (website) where document and other resourced and identified by URLs and they are accessible over the internet.

➤ These website contains Text, Digital image, Audio, Video etc on which user easy to accessible from any part of over internet by using their device.Such as Computer, Laptop, Smart phone etc.

➤ The www is developed by Tim Berners Lee in 1989.

3) HTML :-

                  It is stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.

➤ It is computer language which used to create hypertext document (webpage) foe the World Wide Web.

4) TCP/IP: - It is stands for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol.

➤ It is a communication protocol for the internet and it define the rule which computer must be follow to communication with each other over the internet.

5) FTP:- It is stands for File Transfer Protocol.

➤ It is a standard network protocol which used to exchange and manipulates the document over internet.

➤ FTP represents the network functionality that enables us to upload web page file (Text, file, Image, Audio) from Personal computer to the server and vice versa.

i.e. Downloading the file from particular server to device.

6) HTTP :-

             HTTP is stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol and used by www.

➤ HTTP define the how message are transmitted and what action should be taken by web browser and Server for give the response to various Command. 

7) Domain Name: - 

                                The domain name is a specific name used in URLs to identify the particular web page.

➤ For example the  URLS http://www.hatmail.com has the domain name is hotmail.com.

➤ Every domain name has a suffix know as domain name extension

For example :-

.com
